Working with RexLoops is actually quite easy and fun. Rexs go much farther than they get credit for. You can get a lot more creative than most people realize. (gate triggers, swapping midi in seq, lfo filters and pans etc..)
AND DON'T FORGET TO USE THE REGROOVE MIXER for some serious MPC swang in these beats!(or any other rexs you have or make!) I will usually pick a bunch of random rex elements, quantize them all (@ 1/16) and give them lanes with the MPC Swing % from The Reason Factory Sound Bank. Instant MPC Feel!
